It's no secret that wrestling does take a "real" toll on those of us lucky enough to do what we love for a living.  I'd like to give a quick shout out to all the doctors who do such a wonderful job putting us "back together again." 

I was in my Bone and Joint doctor's office yesterday.  (Hey Dr. Mike!) I've been going to the same guy for a number of years now.  My left elbow has been  bothering me quite a bit in recent weeks.  He checked it out.  Took x-rays.  He asked me, "When did you break your elbow?"  I explained that I hadn't.  "Yes you did.  But it's healed now," he tells me.  Turns out my current injury is Medial Epicondylitis......yup, golfer's elbow.  Never really golfed a day in my life but....ok.  More than likely this condition simply comes from repetitive movement from lifting, strain, stress, that type of thing.  Wrestling is probably covered in there somewhere.  LOL.

Nothing to worry about, thankfully.

Off to Reno tomorrow.  San Bernardino on Sunday and RAW is in Anaheim on Monday.

hey fan nation my groups arent going to well the hightes group i have has 20 people and the least is 1  so go 2 my profile and click on groups and join all the 1s i started but any way and 4 every1 that is asking y am sad it cuz mt best friends brother  got shot on monday and me and his younger brother have been friends sence the 5th grade and people r twisting what happen like it was drug related and he was n a gang and he walked n a bad drug deal and that he  owed some money and now people r saying  it happened on brainerd rd. then in ottwe idk where and people r saying press charges on the mom 4  negletion but she has a younger son and idk where their father is but he was 6teen and its very sad and wat makes me mad is that when he got shot n the head twice then in the chest his friend drove him all the way 2 erlanger when there was anther hospital like 5 min. away but he was already dead  and it makes me think wat can happen next 2 peaple and how easy someones life is taked away win no one knows the real story besides his mom and brother and idk if they know wat truly happen.the weight was 2 day and i went 4 like a min. or so cuz  it was v ery heart breaking to still c the mark on his face where he got shot at it makes me sad evey singal time i hear one got shot or some one killed some 1 and i wish i could go back in time and take him home insteed of him walking all the way home but i didn even know i feel like crying evey time people talk about it...................................................... i made a pic of  it ill try 2 get the pic on there soon but comment on the pic i just cant tell u how  i feel but thanx u JONese ps his name was ike

What happened to the party of Lincoln?

What happened to the party of Reagan? 

What happened to the party that fought to free slaves... fought for lower taxes... fought for individual rights... for a strong defense... that brought an end to the cold war... that brought us a freer world?

Tonight, I sit here writing you literally in shock of what I'm seeing. Republicans turning against John McCain. People who literally HATE Obama... who call him a "Arab"... who say they're scared  of an America made possible because of the Republican's so-called first president... Lincoln... and I can't believe what I'm seeing.

The Republicans have lost their soul.

My grandfather told me once that no political party has the embargo on good ideas. He told me that the honor and integrity of a person is what compelled him to support anyone who makes the 'people's work' their life's task. He supported independents. Republicans. Democrats. I've tried to do the same.

But I can not support a party who - at it's soul - has people who are so scared... so afraid... so single minded and - well - lost - when it comes to the world today. I watch these people... yelling "kill him" at Palin's rallys... calling him a "terrorist"... saying that they are "scared" because he's different or - amazingly - that an American man who is the embodiment of what our country is all about - is somehow an Arab - and my jaw drops.

The Republican party is not the party of Reagan anymore. It's not the party of the first President Bush. Not the party of Nixon. Not the party of Lincoln.

It's the party of fear.

It's the party of hate.

it's a party with some good ideas - and good people - who are now having to defend themselves from the monster they created by using fear... and disdain... as means of control.

This election is the beginning of a long, cold winter for the former Party of Reagan and Lincoln. They've lost sight of the "shining city on a hill" they once claimed to believe in. The fire of the eternal dream and promise of America has dimmed for them... and while they enter into this wilderness of their own creation... I hope they can find what it is that Lincoln once gave them... and that their recent leaders have somehow squandered:

Their soul.

So there are rumors going around that the station may be creating a special night for rock-a-holics that's basically just like those awesome, summer-long movie screenings that take place in Hollywood Forever Cemetery. No idea if it's true, or if it is true, where or when it will be.

All'z I know is I've heard rumblings of it around the office. And you know what? I hope they're true! Because if you've never been to a beautiful outdoor movie screening in one of LA's star-studded cemeteries, well, you haven't truly experienced how cool this city's offerings are.

I'm guessing stay tuned, keep checking in with me, and we'll find out if there's some substance to this rumor in a week or two.

John Felix Anthony Cena (born April 23, 1977) is an American actor, hip hop musician, and wrestler. He is employed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and performs on their Raw brand. He is currently inactive due to a herniated disc in his neck.

In his WWE career, Cena has been a three time WWE Champion,a three time United States Champion,and a two time World Tag Team Champion.He also won the 2008 Royal Rumble. Before being promoted to the main WWE roster, Cena trained in and wrestled for Ultimate Pro Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling, holding the top titles of both promotions.

Outside of wrestling, Cena has released the rap album You Can't See Me, which debuted at #15 on the US Billboard 200 chart,and starred in the movie The Marine.He has also made appearances on television shows including Manhunt, Deal or No Deal, MADtv, and Punk'd. Most recently, Cena was a contestant on Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race, where he made it to the final round before being eliminated, placing third in the overall competition.

Early life

Cena was born April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts,the second eldest of five brothers – Dan, Matt, Steve and Sean.After graduating from Cushing Academy, Cena attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. In college he was a Division III All-American center on the football team, wearing the number 54, which is still used on some of his WWE merchandise. He graduated from Springfield in 1998 with a degree in exercise physiology,after which he pursued a career as a bodybuilder, and also worked as a chauffeur for a limousine company.

Cena first started training to become a wrestler in 2000 at the California-based "Ultimate University" operated by Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW). Once he was placed into an in-ring role, Cena began using a semi-robotic character known as The Prototype. Some of this period of his career was documented in the Discovery Channel program Inside Pro Wrestling School.While in UPW, Cena held the Heavyweight Championship for just shy of a month in April 2000. In 2001, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) signed him away from UPW, placing him under a developmental contract and assigning him to their "farm territory" Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he continued his training. During his time there, Cena wrestled as both The Prototype and Mr. P, and he held the Heavyweight Championship for three months and the Tag Team Championship (with Rico Constantino) for two.

World Wrestling Entertainment (2002-present)

2002-2003

Cena's first televised WWE match was in answer to a (kayfabe) open challenge by Kurt Angle on June 27, 2002.Inspired by a speech given by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to the rising stars of the company, exhorting them to show "ruthless aggression" to earn a place among the legends, Cena took advantage of the opportunity and almost beat Angle by kicking out of his Angle Slam and enduring the ankle lock submission hold. He ultimately lost, however, to a hard, amateur-style pin. Following the near-win, Cena became a face and was put into a program with Chris Jericho. In October, Cena and Billy Kidman joined forces to take part in a tag team tournament to crown the first WWE Tag Team Champions of the SmackDown! brand, but lost in the first round. The next week, Cena turned on and attacked Kidman, blaming him for their loss.

Shortly after the Kidman attack, on a Halloween themed episode of SmackDown!, Cena dressed as Vanilla Ice and performed a freestyle rap. The next week, Cena received a new gimmick: a rapper who cut promos in rhyme. As the gimmick grew, he adopted a variant of the 80s WWF logo — dropping the "F" — as his "signature symbol", along with the slogan "Word Life". Moreover, he was joined by an enforcer, Bull Buchanan, who was rechristened B-2 (also written B² and pronounced "B-Squared"). Buchanan was later replaced by Rodney Mack under the moniker "Red Dogg", until he was sent to the Raw brand in February.
